I’m all for Nate’s ambition! Obviously, it’s super cringe and borderline embarrassing but this is an interesting turn for the character and I’m really into it. Of course, I’d hate it if this was real life and I had to work with him.

Well, I don’t think much of it and think Nate should go back to a real career in internal medicine lke Dr. Steve Hardy of General Hospital. I am so retro like a prehistoric dinosaur but really not and just say these things for effect. The real Dr. Steve Hardy, John Bernadino died in 26 years ago in 1996. But I probably have not answered the question proposed?

Even in fake COO world, Nate is clueless. Stop embarrassing yourself Nate! Sorry Ali, I know he is your Y&R hunk lol.

Take a step back, Nate. You’re looking at the wrong people for support. I love Imani, but I would not be looking to her for advice. She’s encouraging Nate to buck the system. If he keeps it up, Devon and Lily will lose respect for him and question their decision to include him in the business. Nate didn’t step up and make Devon pay for the loss of his livelihood. So slow down, Nate You need to be more strategic and learn about Chancellor/Winters before pushing your ideas.

i vote “Step back, Nate.” He doesn’t do ambition well. He is a doctor, a healer, a step-in-and-react guy, not a strategist. Also, I posted this comment lately last week in response to a snap Ali posted – but this week’s poll is about Nate, so I am going to just say again: This storyline was subtle. The smooth and friendly agreement to start this new company, and who will do what — Nate gave up his career at hospital thinking he was going to be an equal part of this and make a difference. Reality is Billy has something… Read more »

I voted for Nate to Back it Up. I think his ambition and drive is a great thing to have and I don’t want him to loose that. However; he is not in a position to make the final decision and your boss makes that call regardless if you agree or not. I think Nate should be able to express his opinion and thoughts and they should be valued, but Devon and Lily do have the final say as they are in higher level positions. If Nate goes rogue and goes against what Devon and Lily said, then he is… Read more »
I voted for Nate to keep it up. He has good ideas but Devon always shoots him down. Even after giving up his job at the hospital with Elena, he doesn’t get the respect he should for his ideas and his ambition
I agree that Devon should not shoot down Nate’s ideas the way he does. I would be nervous to suggest an idea to Devon as he seems to get upset by Nate’s ideas, kinda hostile. I just wonder if Chancellor Winters Hamilton is not a right fit for Nate even though it is viewed as a family company. Nate’s working style just might not work for conservative Devon and Lily and he could be better off somewhere else. Maybe Nate could work for Adam and Sally as they could be a bit more of a take risks type of attitude.
