Thumbs up! Although I maybe of a minority in that I didn’t/don’t pay a lot of attention to the opening once I’ve seen it. I generally ignore it or zip past it, lol, but I will be checking out each character’s new shot as each appears! I like the rich color combo and especially like the effect of spotlights illuminating the night skyline. Well done, YnR.

I am just so pleased to have fresh, updated shots of our YR stars! The old credits were were really starting to look raggedy. In particular I would always cringe when the old photo of Melody Thomas Scott would come up—it was downright dowdy. Her new photo is lovely—it really does her justice. I’m happy to see the whole cast look like their 2023 selves—“Wisconsin” never looked so good.

I voted “Thumbs Up” for the anniversary logo. Keeping the theme song really influenced my vote! I hope they never change the theme song. Also, Victor’s iconic wink of the eye was so cool! 🙂

I agree, Ali — I am content, but not thrilled. Positive: Yes, everyone — so far — looks pretty great. I look forward to seeing the other versions (and who will be in them!). Negatives: As a graphic designer, I think the city illustration, spotlights, and type (ugh) look cheap. Honestly, a solid color gradient is timeless and they should just have gone simple. Oh well, I will survive :p

I had to ponder for a bit on which way to vote. I was giddy that a new intro existed at all, but was a little disappointed with the skyline graphics behind their names. At least this means we’re guaranteed new graphics in a year when it’s not the 50th. All-in-all thumbs up for a new intro.
