When Shauna kisses Charlie…? I just Shazam’d it for you: “On Top of the World” by Rupert Pope and Giles Palmer

(Shazam is a cool app that tells you what song/artist is playing wherever you are — or on whatever you are watching!)

No, Sharon was alone in the coffee shop, and put the jukebox on. Thanks though..

I am surprised Jack hasn’t done more snooping around at the actual country club itself. Maybe he could find out who worked there all those years ago and try and get in contact with someone. Perhaps they could give Jack some names of men who were members there and he could say them to Dina and help job her memory. They may even remember Dina. Maybe those country clubs even have reunions just like high schools do. I am not sure.

I am sorry but the card they showed Faith give her dad for Father’s Day from her and Christian does not look like a card a kid has made. You can tell this was done by an adult who is trying to make it look like a child has drawn it. The picture of Nick holding baby Christian in his arms is amazing for a kid to draw! The way Christian’s one leg is over Nicholas’s waist was drawn way too well. Also a card from a little girl would not have been so plain as it was. Little girls… Read more »

I really like how Y&R incorporated Father’s Day into the show. I don’t recall them ever doing this before. It is so much better when they incorporate these special occasions. It makes it more realistic while making the show not just about family drama. It is nice to see the characters acknowledging their dads and talking about all of their good qualities. I also like that the characters are at each other’s homes hanging and socializing like families do instead of coffee shops and restaurants.

Hello Ali
I want to EXCITED about the Hilary & Devon reunion but I CAN’T because the impending exit of Mishael Morgan. Mishael said that she is STILL filming (Hilary) for a bit longer. Hilary has become MY character & I’m sadden by her leaving the show. I will probably stop watching once her character leaves because I need a break from YR. I wish Mishael the BEST success outside of her character on YR.

Nicki’s whole reaction to Victor’s actions is ticking me off. Like when Nick showwd up at the GCAC she didn’t have anything to say. She’s just going along with Victor like she could care less. She didn’t even try to console Nick smh

Perhaps I am in the minority, but I don’t like the patriarchy-centric undertone to the Jack/John Abbott storyline… Sure Jabot was created by John and Dina wasn’t the best mother in the world, but this *hyper-focused* talk about paternity makes it seem like a mother’s genetic contribution doesn’t count for anything. That simply isn’t true, esp. in 2018.

I wish Abby and Victoria (esp. Victoria!) had been more outspoken at the athletic club lunch over Victor taking Christian from Nicholas. Maybe it will come later, but they should have been totally enraged and stormed out. What’s with the mild temperaments in GC?!

According to what we have learned from next week’s previews: A) Phillip Chancellor can not be Jack’s biological father because by blurting out his name in the preview you can be sure this is a ruse since revealing his identity beforehand defeats the purpose of keeping us in suspense; B) apparently JT is capable of performing supernatural feats of strength given the fact that he survived being buried alive (I am assuming he was the one who called Victoria letting her know her secret is out).

Cannot wait to see how Nicks “new “ personality will present itself. He will never not have a sweet heart so that combined with an edge…exciting!!

Another random theory… before this recent Mal-as-head-writer phase, when characters were shown with food, they would never actually eat it — they would push a few pieces of lettuce around on a plate, but just keep talking… over the last few months, I have noticed that the characters actually eat the food put in front of them: Victor with his hummus and pita chips at GCAC, donuts in the Newman Enterprises kitchenette, Jabot popcorn (all the time!). I know it’s a silly thing to mention, but I always notice it now. Bon appetĂt!

Yes! Sharon must really be raking it in taking people’s money for empty coffee mugs/cups.

Also: empty suitcases being tossed around like sacks of feathers!

The outcome in court was BS. How is Victor anymore mentally stable than Sharon? He has proven over and over again how screwed up his brain is. At least Sharon has a legitimate illness and is taking care of it by being on medication. Why am I not surprised though. Victor always wins. It still bothers me that Sharon is always the loser in storylines like this, and Victor is always the winner. It’s time the writers change things up and let Sharon be the winner for once. If Victor can do all these horrible things and still be sitting… Read more »

Sharon receives ongoing medical treatment and therapy. She has a diagnosis, whereas Victors issues are undiagnosed and untreated therefore undocumented. This storyline is a disservice to the public awareness that mental health organizations are promoting. It’s 2018! Get with the times Y & R!

I gotta say I am loving this new and improved Summer! Yeah she’s a brat but she’s so much more watchable than she was before. All she ever did was cry, also the stories they were giving her wasnt suitable for her age. This is great. I can totally buy into the whole spoiled party girl princess thing because let’s face it, she’s Victor Newman’s granddaughter with a ton of money and privilege.. it makes sense that she would be this way!

I liked the gentle side of her personality when she was with Jack. She was genuine and showed empathy for his situation. That chip on her shoulder she’s got with everyone else is getting her nowhere

I LOVE…LOVE the speach that Nick give to Victor in the athletic club about Christian
And I am team Nick all the way.
I look forward to the revelry between the to of them and it’s time for Victor to realize the kind of men he is and his patern with is family .
I just hope that Nick is going to stay the same generous and kind men and that he is not going to lost himself in the process of rivalry.
He is furious…so am I (my maternity instincts kick in)

Nick is a bigger man than I am. I would have been so angry with everything I would have ditched Sharon the moment the arbitrator gave custody to Victor. I disagree with the arbitrators decision (Sharon’s past) but would have ditched Sharon on the spot
