Due to the untimely death of Kristoff St. John, AKA Neil Winters, I feel that not only will there be lengthy courtroom drama but there will be other lengthy segments of the show as well. I’ve noticed that there has not been any mention of “Hamilton-Winters” and the like since the tragic circumstances regarding Kristoff. This is to be expected (my opinion) as the writers/cast etc., move forward with how they will develop future storylines.
I am guessing this weeks “might have something to do with balloon animals.
I feel like you get me, Lesley! It was ‘balloon animals’ from the moment I heard it. In general, I think Y&R Chat is one of the only places in the world where people understand me and know what makes me tick. That’s a good feeling.
I loved that line, so glad you used it!
Let’s all wish Aaron on YouTube a happy birthday.
Very cool of you! Just sent him a message. 🙂
the trial was really well done
Christine’s closing arguments were delivered very well and I especially enjoyed Michael Baldwin’s closing argument! It was excellent! The court room scenes have been excellent and not boring in any way. Really enjoyed them!
I agree. It was great!
Yes, I was thinking how Y&R works to try and entertain us in new ways as much as they can. This, appropriately (lots to play), was the longest trial we’ve seen in some time. But not old-fashioned. The many days in court cut right to the action with no swearing on the bible, etc. End of Thursday, Michael takes charge of the entire JT story to announce he is switching focus to put “domestic abuse on trial” with Victoria on the stand. First scene on Friday Vic is already talking… Boom. Boom. It was so right on the money to… Read more »
If I were Phyllis, I would think Kyle was a snake for asking Summer to marry him when Lola is in a coma. The timing couldn’t be worse to ask her. She’s been in a coma for all of 5 minutes. That should send red flags to Phyllis. I wouldn’t want a man like that anywhere near my daughter that did that. It seems pretty low considering they were an item before she got sick which Phyllis pointed out. Phyllis should still be suspicious of the timing of the engagement even if she thinks Summer is not pregnant.
Yes, this whole situation is maddening, and you know it is going to be exhausting… Don’t know if I have the emotional chops to follow it…
If Phyllis were to get back together with Jack and marry him again, that would make Summer and Kyle step brother and sister. I guess they won’t be getting back together anytime soon.
Brittany never asked Rey why he told Sharon he loved her after she told him that he falsely tried to play Sharon. I wonder what Rey would have said. I thought that was an important question to ask. Rey only said “It wasn’t like that” after Brittany suggested he falsely told her he loved her to gain her trust in him.
When Kyle was asking Summer what it would take to get her to donate part of her liver to Lola, I wonder why Kyle told Summer he would marry her right away. Kyle didn’t even wait to see what Summer would have said without his suggestion. Maybe deep down he wants a relationship with Summer, but doesn’t admit it to himself or her.
This is a fantastic screen shot. It looks like Victoria in the video being choked is looking at Victoria on the stand
Are they doing a recap at the top of each episode? That’s new right!
Wow what an episode , am proud of Victoria she was strong this episode and her telling her side of the story was so sad and amazing acting by the actress , Britney and Michael this episode were great , love Britney and Michael this week , they were amazing this week , love how Britney rip ray , well I don’t know the term to use for it but the point is I just love how britney was with ray , ugh Mia , mia is such a lier , she only came to town for Arturo and everyone… Read more »
I think people get too easily upset over what Mia did to Lola. If one looks carefully all Mia did was push Lola and then smashed her cell phone with the heel of her shoe. I do not believe she actually intended for Lola’s head to collide against the springboard, although she is responsible for that. By the time Lola fell into the pool Mia was gone. Mia should be held accountable for Lola’s injuries but her intentions was to hurt Abby, not to kill her.
Chain Mia, but yes, this is absolutely true. Why has Rey compromised himself as officer of the law in keeping Mia’s secret? It is true to a soap storyline but not his particular character…
Rey on the witness stand was my FAVORITE Y&R scene this year so far!
I literally squealed with laughter and happiness when Brittney took him down! And Mia squirming and glaring was icing on the cake. SO GOOD! Now That’s good soap. How many women dream of getting their cheating man UNDER OATH?
HAHAHA
Well… THATS TRUE! But when your husband is telling another woman that’s he is in love with her…. that’s a cheater! LOL
But we agree that they need to divorce—. As soon as the FAKE baby is discovered—. God I love soaps.
When Nick informed Billy he was going on a crusade to see if he can find JT you know as night follows day this is going to end up with Nick becoming the hero by showing up with the dead man himself. Unfortunately, that will also mean that Sharon, Victoria and Nikki will all be found guilty. There will be, however, one consolation prize in all this-they will finally find an excuse to bring Lily back, because the Margarita Crew will be shacked up in the same hoosegow.
Move aside lugubrious, there’s a new word in town
hoosegow
or hoos′gow·
SLANG
a jail or guardhouse
Origin of hoosegow
from Spanish juzgado, court of justice from past participle of juzgar, to judge from Classical Latin judicare from judex, judge
They haven’t even mentioned the secret friend hiding in the walls since the trial started, guess they forgot about it
