I know you didn’t ask, Ali, but I have a few predictions for 2023: I would like to see someone murdered, and some have murdered them. Hopefully, not revealed right away. It would be interesting for the audience to know whodunnit, and let the storyline progress through suspects, while we are on the edges of our seats anticipating who will find out, and how it will play out. I think Victoria and Lily are the new Jack/Victor business rivals for a while. But something needs to happen to make them kind of hate each other. A love interest? Maybe Katie… Read more »

cbs.com Y&R cast list shows 24 women and 17 men. Take away 5 women who are never on or leaving (Esther, Traci, Elena, Amanda, Jill) and here is my pairing for that list—and justification for each. Victoria and Tucker—similar to Victoria and Ashland Tessa and Mariah—no change Summer and Kyle—no change Sharon and Billy—He needs counseling, she needs to counsel Sally and Daniel—creative, interesting, trendy Phyllis and Nick—need to find their way back/and forth/and back Nicki and Victor—no change Lily and Noah—He seems confident enough to stand up to her bossiness. Lauren and Michael—no change Faith and Moses—no change Diane… Read more »

That’s right—you both know how popular you are here. No Daniel (or Danny) come lately is going to take your place. We do enjoy teasing you though.

That is very sweet. I was sitting here seething over a Daniel Romalotti scene, wondering, ‘What’s he got that I haven’t got?’ with you making me realize, nothing.

Poor kid has Phyllis for a mother. We should pity him, honestly. I’m also waiting to hear what went wrong with Heather. Seems like Daniel is going to need to play his own inspirational video game to get his life back on track. Is he having a mid-life crisis? And now Phyllis is all up in his business, literally? Yikes.

With Danny returning. It would be interesting if Tessa turns out to be his daughter. The girl has been on the show for almost six years with no parents. So, of course the obvious connection to Danny, as a musician. But also, it would make Tessa the granddaughter of Rex Sterling(aka Brian Romalotti), who was a big con artist when he first came on. Supposedly, so did Tessa.

Did you hear me laughing all the way from over here in Maine? You always deliver Ali. I like that you start your Chat with a “cold open” —it could be a big highlight of the week or it could be something really funny. Traci’s ice skates ornament was both—I think the writers were pretty proud of that little touch, a mention of Katherine around the Abbott tree, *sniff*
Well, we have to take what we can get. I was busy wishing Summer would bring me some eggnog. That sounded good about then.
