I will make a hopeful prediction. I hope Chelsea’s new husband is not a new character. It will be more dramatic for it to be a character from the past. It would be a good way reintroduce a character to the show. Possibilities: Scott, Daniel, Tucker, Ronan, Dylan, Chance, etc…. It needs to either be a new rival for Adam, Nick or Billy — or a business rival for Jack, Victor or Devon — or maybe he will die offscreen before Chelsea makes it town and allow her to hook up with Cane. I wonder if this is Gina’s last week given what happens at the end of Thursday’s episode. I wonder if there will be a few weeks where Phyllis is not on screen and then Michelle will appear around July 4 since she just finished filming GH in May when her contract ended according to Soaps.com. I enjoyed the Phyllis and Adam scenes more than anything else on the show this week even though I found it hard to get vested due to the upcoming cast change. Ok maybe I watch too many true crime shows, but I half expected the Zodiac killer to pop up and attack Billy and Victoria while they were making out in the car, lol.
Just wanted to add, that’s how odd that scene was to me. Are we going to see more couples go to this lovers lane location?
I thought the scene involving the handing over of Neil’s name plate to Victor was especially touching because in real life I believe Eric Braeden and Kristoff St John were close friends. On another note, was it not Devon the one responsible for Neil winning his share off Hamilton/Winters in the first place?
Agree. The name plate was the most moving of the bequests for the reason you mention.
