I am disappointed in the way Y&R has handled the character of Paul. He has not only been the longest running (without any long breaks) actor on Y&R but he is one of the longest running actors on CBS Daytime or anytime for that matter. Gunsmoke lasted only 20 years and it is the longest CBS primetime series. Next year the actress who plays Nikki will celebrate 40 years and in 2020 the actor who plays Victor will celebrate 40 years. Ali, in answer to Lesley’s suggestion, murder is a federal crime only in certain circumstances, such as a murder committed in an Indian reservation, or in a military base. In this instance JT’s murder does not constitute a federal offense and, presumably, Nick could confess to murdering him if the amnesty covers any commission of a crime regarding JT’s disappearance.
